Manual handling risk assessments

If any of your employees carry out unavoidable manual handling tasks, by law*  you need to undertake specific manual handling risk assessments.  Such employees include messengers, moves and warehouse personnel, and people who have to move boxes or drinking water bottles.

We’ll discuss the tasks that need to be assessed with the manager responsible for the staff in question.  We’ll find out more about the work they do and then carry out our manual handling risk assessment.

Our report will make recommendations about changes you need to make.  We’ll also suggest dates by which you should make those changes.
